   Sassy, Classy and Comfy…

The Condo had water damage from a leaky sink pipe that flooded the Kitchen area when our client was not at home. Her insurance company said that they would replace the kitchen so the client went out looking for an exact replica of the outdated, worn out kitchen that was there.  She was driving around going from showroom to showroom, state to state… yes… State to state… looking for an Oak door cabinet which she finally found somewhere down in New Jersey. Yes she actually found the oak door! This all happened before we showed up in the picture.

One evening according to her, she decided to do some online research for totally different reason and she came upon our website. We were local, we were close by, and she loved what she saw, so she decided to give us a call to come over for a consult.

While we were there on the consult, we learnt about the color scheme. Our client then pulled out the oak door and the Ubatuba granite stone.  Angelica and I looked at each other, then at her, and we both said… No way! Absolutely no way!

After consult, and field measurement, we headed back to our office and came up with a design that will fit the style of the condo and some important most haves our client needed. We scrapped her original plan, totally reconfigured the space by designing for larger upper Cabinets with crown Moldings to the ceiling. This added tons of additional space for much needed storage. We then changed out the initial color scheme to a more up to date style that fits more with our client warm and jolly character. A trendy Island was put in place but not only as a working surface and storage, but also for seating up to 4 people, essentially replacing her table in the middle of the room.

We then turned our attention to the rest of the room where the GC sand and refinished the parquet floors in this smoke grey color. A modern built in feature wall was design to hold a TV and an electrical Fireplace with faux brick veneer. LED lighting was added under the cabinet, some crystal Knobs and handles, Quartz countertops, pendant light and paint brought this Condo up to meet the style, taste and demand of this beautiful space.

Everything was thought about: function, style, practical space allocation, loads of fun and personality!  Saying that this client is happy would be an understatement.

Now unto the next!
